Mosaic Patterns can create an atmosphere, unify divergent sections of rooms, or simply blend with an existing theme. Mosaic tile patterns can work in commercial settings, residential environments and corporate offices. Some patterns are instantly recognizable like the Pinwheel and the Hexagon. Other designs have a fresh, contemporary feel such as the Rib Pattern, Planko, and the Opus Mosaic. Color and Tile material can update a classic pattern or soften a modern pattern into a rather traditional element. Take your time and explore our extensive colle ction of Mosaic Patterns.

Mosaic Patterns

The Basketweave pattern is similar to the Pinwheel style. Both designs have small square dots surrounded by larger rectangular Tiles. The dimensional proportion of the large Tiles varies the pattern. If you're looking for a more pronounced Basketweave effect, look at patterns with lighter colored dots and darker rectangles.

The Rounds and Hexagon patterns move away from straight lines. Both the honeycomb like Hexagon category and the circular stone Penny Rounds are available in contrasting and blending shades. The mesh mounted interlocking sheets, may look complex, but they are quite easy to install.

The classic look of brick can be achieved with Mosaic pattern Tiles using several different styles. The Mini Brick and Offset Brick have an authentic look in a small scale, while the slightly larger scaled Brick and Falling Rain patterns have a more modern interpretation. All of these styles are excellent choices for interior walls and floors.

Many mosaic tile patterns are reminiscent of period décor. The white and black Octagon with Dot Tile pattern was popular in the 1930's through the 1950's. The Criss Cross and Opus categories have been inspired by 1960's art styles. Of course with a modern color palette all of these patterns are reinvented.

Mosaic Patterns add new possibilities and applications for Tile. There are dozens of patterns to choose from using a variety of materials to achieve exciting possibilities.
