Our Stained Glass Mosaic series uses authentic, high quality stained glass. Sheets of glass are hand scored and individually snapped to create small shapes or Tesserae.

The Tesserae are then sorted by color and shade. Master craftspersons individually select and carefully hand set each piece on a mesh sheet to create the mosaic field. Where appropriate, sheets are created with interlocking edges, so that when installed, the product will have a seamless appearance.

Certain colors will have an iridescent finish, which appears only when light hits the surface at the correct angle. This creates visual movement within the material and adds an additional dimension to the design.
