Made from 100% recycled aluminum and brass, our Alumenia tile series is a completely unique product. Each tile is hand made using the sand casting method, which is the same process used in producing fine sculpture.

ALUMENIA

The surface of the Alumenia tile has a naturally formed texture which is created when the molten metal is poured into a mold. Once the metal has cooled, the tiles are removed and then the final finishes are created such as Brushed, Vibrated & Sandblasted

BRASS

Decorative coloring or patination of metals heralds back through many hundreds of years and is found in all great sculptural and artisanal traditions. Metals such as brass will naturally take on a colored patina over the course of time due to oxidization. The patina actually forms a barrier whereby it serves to protect the metal from the elements while adding natural vibrancy and depth to its visual appeal.
