Stone Tile in Proportional Rectangular Formats No longer relegated to being only available in ceramic tiles, the classic Subway Tile shape is now available in stocked marble, limestone and slate colors, in both polished and honed formats. The elegance of natural stone combined with the perfect proportion of the 3 x 6 Subway Tile format makes this exciting new series so wonderful to design with. We took things a bit further by adding fresh updated formats such as 2 x 8, 2 x 9, 3 x 9, 3 x 12, 3 x 16 and an impressive 3 x 24 format. The gorgeous natural variation of stone lends itself perfectly to this format, as the textures, shades and tones blend exquisitely in a medium size proportion. Not only adding perceived value to a project but also adding resale value, as natural stone tile bathrooms and kitchens always do. Previously, when one required these types of shapes in unusual, high-end stones, the material would have to be custom cut from larger tile. Lead times were many weeks and the room for error was high. We recognized this issue and decided it was time for a change. With our Pre-Cut Stone Tile series, we can quickly email photos of current stock and ship approval samples prior to delivery of the actual order. This will allow you and your client to gain a strong understanding and higher level of comfort for not only the quality of the tile, but the proper tonality and veining.
